03/30/2010 - Breaking and Entering

There was a confirmed break-in to a home in the 99xx block of Erinsbrook Dr. (reported 6:58 PM on 3/29 - Case number: P10039895). I have also been told the that Durham Sheriffs office may have apprehended the suspects and will follow up with the Raleigh PD contacts that I have to confirm.

03/28/2010 - Bicycle Thefts

Late last week, someone stole two bicycles out of the garage at 8512 Erinsbrook Dr. The garage door was open, the homeowners were home, and someone just walked in and took them! They only took the two kids bikes, not the adult ones ... and no other items appears to be taken. Probably just kids, but still not right. The bikes they stole were an adult size Schwinn road bike (blue and white) and a smaller mountain bike (red and black). If anyone knows of any information or see's anything, please let me know. A police report has been filed.

03/04/2010 - Entrance Lights

The entrance lights to the neighborhood were destroyed again.

01/29/2010 - Stop sign graffiti

The stop sign at the Englehardt entrance to our neighborhood was vandalized. I received an email from a Raleigh Police officer as part of Raleigh Intelligence Center with expertise in gangs violence. The officer stated: "It looks like this is a 'tagger' and most likely this is not gang related. It is my opinion that the graffiti reads "Shena!". Most taggers are male, so I would speculate that the tagger may have a girlfriend or a potential girlfriend he is trying to impress. But there are a few female taggers. I will notify the city to have it removed." It has since been removed.
